Assists and encourages members to pursue advanced credentialing.
Works with vendor members of the association to promote value to membership. This committee also works with the Program Committee to ensure that vendor participation is available at all conference and educational seminars.
The role of this committee is to address issue of importance to NJMGMA members by gathering and sharing information, acting as an advocate for members and providing education
for members, legislators and other constituencies as deemed appropriate. Monitors the activities of the national legislative bodies and reports to membership proposed or enacted legislation affecting healthcare delivery.
Legislative & External Relations Chair - Jason Krisza
This committee’s role is to promote the organization to potential members, organizations and sponsors.
This committee’s role is to recruit and retain members, set up member networks, develop the membership database and identify services, which may be of value to NJ MGMA.
To ensure the regular communication of information to members the committee requests article contributions, reviews articles and develops the quarterly newsletter. The committee will work on the e-newsletter for distribution to members electronically on a quarterly basis.
Newsletter Chair/Editor – Lisa MacNair
This committee’s role is to develop the educational forum for all of our conferences and seminars. Members of this committee will work closely with the Executive Board to fulfill member education needs.
The technology committee is responsible for reviewing new technology that NJMGMA could pursue to offer our members as another means of education (i.e. podcasts, tele-seminars, web-conferencing, taped seminars). This committee is also responsible for web site maintenance and mobile application.
Technology Committee Chair – Rob Baron
This committee is vital to the growth and value of NJMGMA. Consisting of various sub committees, their role is to develop the annual conference. The committee’s sole responsibility is to the success of this conference from both a member education experience, and also from a sound fiscal undertaking.
