Program Committee
This committee’s role is to develop the educational forum for all of our conferences and seminars. Members of this committee will work closely with the Executive Board to fulfill member education needs.

Membership Committee
This is a subcommittee of the Member Services committee. This committee’s role is to recruit and retain members, set up member networks, develop the membership database and identify services, which may be of value to NJ MGMA.

Ambassador Committee
This is a subcommittee of the Member Services committee. This committee is responsible for welcoming new members to NJ MGMA. The committee will develop ways to engage new members, function as mentors for new members and provide support and direction as needed. Members of this committee will contact new members by phone to welcome and answer questions for new members. They also will support the Executive Board and other committees as needed.

Technology Committee
The technology committee is responsible for reviewing new technology that NJ MGMA could pursue to offer our members as another means of education (i.e. podcasts, tele-seminars, web-conferencing, taped seminars). This committee is also responsible for web site maintenance and will work with the Member Services Marketing sub-committee on this task.

Newsletter Committee
To ensure the regular communication of information to members the committee requests article contributions, reviews articles and develops the print format of the quarterly newsletter. The committee will also work on the enews letter for distribution to members electronically on a monthly basis.

Legislative/External Relations Committee
The role of this committee is to address issue of importance to NJ MGMA members by gathering and sharing information, acting as an advocate for members and providing education for members, legislators and other constituencies as deemed appropriate. Monitors the activities of the state and national legislative bodies and reports to membership proposed or enacted legislation affecting healthcare delivery.

Affiliate Committee
Works with vendor members of the association to promote value to membership. This committee also works with the Program Committee to ensure that vendor participation is available at all conference and educational seminars.

PMC Conference Committee
This committee is vital to the growth and value of NJ MGMA. Consisting of various sub committees, their role is to develop the annual conference. The committee’s sole responsibility is to the success of this conference from both a member education experience, and also from a sound fiscal undertaking.
