Welcome to the New Jersey Medical Group Management Association
The New Jersey Medical Group Management Association (NJMGMA) gives the professional staff and administrators of medical office practices a rich source of information and contacts for professional growth. Since our founding, we have grown to more than 500 members representing more than 100 medical groups across New Jersey. Our active membership includes supervisors, managers, and administrators of small and large primary care and specialty groups, as well as full time students whose focus is healthcare administration. Our affiliate membership is comprised of vendor companies who partner with medical practices to provide comprehensive services and products to the active members of NJMGMA.

NJMGMA President 2012
On behalf of the Executive Council of NJMGMA, I welcome you to NJMGMA's website. NJMGMA strives to provide its members with relevant, important information as well as value added benefits. NJMGMA is actively involved in advocacy efforts which direct affect physician practices and the future of healthcare. Please help support our efforts by visiting the link below. Recently, our organization has been active supporters of the the Medicare Physician Payment Innovation Act (H.R. 5707). This Act was recently introduced by Rep. Allyson Schwartz, D-Pa., and Joe Heck, R-Nev. The bill would repeal the SGR formula while transitioning to new payment and healthcare delivery models. It would also raise Medicare payment rates by an annual 2.5 percent for primary care, preventive, and care-coordination services from 2014 to 2017. Rates for all other physician services would increase by 0.5 percent annually from 2014-2017. In 2019, physicians who remain in fee-for-service reimbursement would experience pay cuts. Advocacy effort to repeal SGR, support national reform for administrative simplification, and standard QA reporting for QC/MU measures.
